David A. Gerlt

For more than two decades, Mr. Gerlt has served as an outside corporate counsel, specializing in a wide range of transactional matters. His practice includes forming and maintaining business entities, facilitating business purchases and sales, advising on corporate governance and compliance, and handling contract negotiations and drafting. Additionally, he manages commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, lease negotiations, and financing.

Beyond providing standard compliance and business advisory services, Mr. Gerlt has recently overseen a diverse array of transactions. These include the sale of a major distributor and repair facility for a national equipment manufacturer, the sale of a produce wholesaler, and the merger of a large assisted living facility. He has also managed the formation and structuring of a software development company, the purchase and sale of various industrial properties, land, office spaces, and apartment communities, as well as negotiating multiple lease agreements for a national franchise client. Additionally, Mr. Gerlt has secured intellectual property rights for branded consumer products, advised on shareholder matters, and provided guidance on the development of retail centers.

Mr. Gerlt is a member of the State Bar of California and the Orange County Bar Association.

Mr. Gerlt holds a B.A. in Economics from Principia College in Illinois. He obtained his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he was a distinguished member of the Traynor Honor Society and the Phi Alpha Delta law society.

Mr. Gerlt cherishes quality time with his family and exploring the outdoors. His favorite activities include camping and hiking in nearby mountains, scuba diving, and snow skiing.
